Hello all,
I've done a number of bodywork repairs on a 'glass bodied car using epoxy, preferring it over polyester for stability and toughness but now concerned I may be in a spot when it comes to adhesion of finishing products. Advice on how to go forward would be most appreciated.
Thanks
Steve

Re: Epoxy Repair Finishing
I would probably ask your paint supplier for their advice. They should be able to tell you how to prep it and what type of sealer / primer to use.

You should be fine. epoxy is tough and stable. If sanded to the proper grit before primer. Many people seal epoxies after shaping in cylinder heads. Powder coaters use epoxy to fill dents and nick in steel before spraying the powder.
