Back Half a Newer FWD Car

Post by Blown & Injected »

Is it a dumb idea to back half something like a 2006 DTS for a fun street car?

What does something like that cost?

It seems like one is better off just buying a pre 1976 racecar to make a fun street rod.

Just wondering if I should devote anymore thought and energy towards getting crazy with my old Cadillac.

The only FWD cars converted RWD that I saw were dragster type like a Cavalier or Lumina

If your talking street car like full interior then you might have a lot into just that for a tunnel, prob be cheaper to buy a RWD CTS or CTSV

Most round tube chassis cars start on the jig with the first step being to cut the entire floor out of the car.

they will build the whole chassis and tunnel … total PITA...

How much... Ha... if you have to ask...
