I put new tires on my 98 silverado 4dr dually. Now it rides like a tank. There 10 ply. I think it had 4 ply goodyears before. Could be wrong. I am gonna change them to something smoother. They are just hwy tread. Any ideas ?

I'm still puzzled by a couple of things.
What were 4 ply tires doing on a dually? Thats a car tire!
Why buy a dually if you are concerned about ride?
Agree with letting the pressure down. Try about 50psi until you load it.

Interesting but I'm having a hard time believing 460.00 is going to make an
oh my lord difference in my crewcab dually ford.
I think it rides pretty good now. Even better loaded of course.

Probably not oh Lord what a difference, but I think my 3500 rides better than my 1500. So yea they help.

I just turned down some firestone destination LE. They say 4 ply. I think I do have 70 lbs. in my 10 plys. It hardly ever has more than 5200 lbs. behind it.

Might be overkill, but I'm giving this some thought.
