hi,
asking for someone
65 barracuda with a slant 6 needs a proper tune in/near Seattle.

is there any shops left there that able to do this ?

Of all the '60s, that one is the easiest.

When a Studebaker guy asks for a tune-up, I always say, "We start with new points, condensor, rotor, cap, plug wires, spark plugs, fuel filter and air filter." Those solve 90% of "carb" problems.

I hinted at doing the basics first :wink: . I don't know anything of these engines. does the nr1 cylinder tend to run richer ?

The reason the Slant Six was slanted was to give room for the most efficient intake manifold ever fitted to an inline six; so no, the #1 shouldn't be richer.
