Wanted Dodge 2bbl intakes
Hey guys
I am looking for some 2bbl intakes for a 318/360 suitable for a race engine that is restricted to a cast iron unported intake. Depending on the design I am looking at all options available.
Email me through the board and I will get back to you asap.
Thanks for looking

We've scrapped out several without any analysis of which might be best. When those who know tell us which years to look for, in a month or two the snow might melt enough to begin looking for one.

Re: Wanted Dodge 2bbl intakes
The best may be from the early 70's to about 78-79 era.
the intake I am really looking for is from a cop car in the mid 70's to mid 80's from the 360 engine.
This had a single barrel carb which was more like a single butterfly of flap but in a 2 bbl carb body design with a different base plate configuration but the carb and intake worked much much better then the largest 2bbl that was available.
The manifold had a open design on the carb mounting flange area which leads me to think they were specific to either marine or cop cars as there was a single barrel carb deal on chrysler marine engines as well.
Keep me posted when the snow melts.

Wow, that's one I don't believe we've ever seen. Shouldn't be difficult to spot.

They are still out there but not nearly as common as 40 years ago.
We had lots of the old cop cars come through the wrecking yard here over the years and the carbs were real popular for some reason I guess they were N L A from the dealer or rebuilders but the guys that had boats bought them up as OMC discontinued them.

I don't know if it is what you're talking about, but I remember seeing a single plane design 2 barrel cast iron oem manifold for the small dodge. I thought it was early 60's passenger car but maybe not. Anyone else familiar with this.

Re: Wanted Dodge 2bbl intakes
There was a marine intake that was similar to the automotive intake. Either should work just fine so if ya see an intake please let me know.
Thanks again

Seems like the mid-70's Dodge trucks had a higher rise type manifold.
