MIRA valve seat tooling

Post by Stevespeed »

Have a MIRA (Swiss) setup with 3/4 inch straight shank ballhead driver (for Bridgeport) originally bought from Goodson. Only used on a couple sets of heads to cut the full valvejob. Bought a full guide and seat machine and have used the MIRA tooling on occasion to sweep the chamber etc. Includes 3/4 straight shank ballhead driver, large and small ball heads, 7 assorted cutters, 12 pilots and assorted bounce springs. Pilot sizes are 7.87mm, 7.89, 7.91, 7.93, 8.67, 8.69, 8.71, 8.73, 9.44, 9.45, 9.47, and 9.49mm. I don't have it but an adapter bit is available from Goodson to accept Newen / Serdi style cutter inserts. Everything is in very good shape, pilots are straight, not worn out. Have enough tooling for my guide and seat machine these items are not needed. You need a mill of some sort (Bridgeport or China copy) and a rollover fixture of some sort (Bill Jones has an awesome lowbuck setup that is basically two matching mill vises and a simple home built rollover bar that can also be used to surface). If you already have a mill this will not be super speedy for production purposes but will allow very precision work to be done by a hobby user. Everything still in it's suitcase. This is nice Swiss made stuff, Not China. $700 OBO
