Re: Need parts for a Marquette distributor tester
Thanks for the manuals. That's excellent. Now I know how to calibrate the gauges and use it properly.
I have reproduced the King Distributor Tester Manual from your web site to PDF.
I'll have a look at doing the same for the Marquette, there is a little missing detail in the top left corner of the schematics, but can discuss that later if I get to that point.

Re: Need parts for a Marquette distributor tester
For the Marquette distributor tester, does anyone know if the Neon Strobe Lamp has any identifying numbers on it that may indicate the original manufacturer. My strobe lamp is missing, so attempting to find another. Of course, if any one has one to sell, please let me know.

Re: Need parts for a Marquette distributor tester
I have the same machine, Marquette model 42-127 and if you still have a copy of the manual I would love to get a copy.maxracesoftware wrote: ↑Thu May 27, 2021 1:09 pm your looks similar to mine , except mine is dark-red color outside/gold-color on board ( yours silver metal )
mine still works , not willing to sell or part-out
what dimensions/specs do you want ?
if my Wife didn't throw away the Manual , i should still have it in a container or in my Shop somewhere ??

Re: Need parts for a Marquette distributor tester
About 25 years ago, I bought parts for my Allen distributor machine from a company called instrument control systems in Minneapolis. I see they are still around. Maybe they would have parts for your machine?

Re: Need parts for a Marquette distributor tester
i also had a Marquette Scope , and it had lower Cabinets , i sold the Scope to a mechanic Friend
of mine in Abbeville, LA around a few months after i had my then brand new SF-901 Dyno (1988),
i'm pretty sure both the Marquette Scope and Distributor Machine's manuals were inside that lower cabinet
because i've searched and cannot find either manual !
