Baby steps. One day we will get all of our power from the 1 million mile in diameter nuclear fusion reactor in the sky that is bathing the surface of the earth with about 1350 watts/m^2 on average. It is inevitable. It probably won't happen in our lifetimes, but it will happen. It will literally burn you from 100,000,000 miles away.
