Re: Charge your EV during a hurricane
I find it easy to charge an EV during a hurricane. They don't happen near me, so it can charge while I sit in my home watching The Weather Channel.
Apparently this is a common sentiment - I see LOTS of the three main flavors of Tesla around here, as well as electric BMWs. If there are other EVs sharing the road with me, I don't notice them because their manufacturers have elected to not make them butt-ugly. (The Leaf looks kind of like a Volvo C30, except taller, and makes me understand why Volvo made the hatch all-glass. I only see a couple of them, I guess they're pretty crappy since Nissan cheaped out on battery cooling)

CNG? Oh those hypocrites! Figured they would use wind or solar powered chargers. At least little ant feet treading out electrical power for their green cars.Kevin Johnson wrote: ↑Wed Nov 13, 2019 5:19 pm https://www.sae.org/news/2019/10/mahle- ... nary-power

A bit like the old honda prechamber design but with natural gas, brilliant.
Thanks Kevin, nice to hear some good news for once.
