A big THANK YOU, to the man behind the curtain

Post by CamKing »

Thank you to BigBlockMopar, the one that actually made the change to the new server and domain.
He's spent a lot of time and effort, to make this change, and to keep Speed-Talk moving forward.
I may have a vision to keep Speed-Talk going, and better then ever, but it's BigBlockMopar, who is making the vision a reality.

Thank you both! Really liking the "Similar Topics" down at the bottom of the page when viewing threads. That will get used quite a bit on this end. I spend a lot of time reading old threads and such, so it's a welcomed addition =D> 8)

Kudos to you Mike, Big and any others behind the scenes of this huge success story! For a time last year it seemed that we would just be left wringing our hands over the loss of a fantastic resource but you've morphed a terrible tragedy into a win-win-win-win: breathing new life into a terminal forum, memorializing Don's creation, providing his widow with a substantial benefit from his work and seizing the opportunity to fine-tune a number of aspects of the S-T forum. =D> =D> =D> =D> =D> =D> =D>

You're all welcome. Mostly I'm glad the site got saved.

I'm always in for improving forum usability. Software should 'help' people make things easy, not fight it.

Roger that! Really like that feature. Thanks to all who are keeping Speed Talk going and implementing the new format.
