Vannik, nice to see you here.

For those that don't know him, Vannik is the author of EngMod4T which is the most comprehensive engine simulation program that an enthusiast can afford.
Vannik probably knows more about the physics of an engine and computer simulation of it than the rest us of combined.

don't take this the wrong way its only fun , but boy did you jump the gun there , for the elephant in the room , i cannot remember a 1.5-6cc porche engine , that was the give away , it was a honda , and in honesty i don't think he did much out of the ay with any porche's , but the castrol top shop challage of that year is worth the read especially considering cosworth , and all the bla bla ,

Vannik.

The information is very appreciated.
For me though, I have to justify investing in the software possibly at the expense of investing in the hard parts.
For the last couple of years I've only managed to participate in the virtual side of engine development. The few very modest programs I have plus what I can garner from the internet has kept my hobby going. And I stress hobby because that's what it is. That doesn't mean I'm any less passionate about it but it also allows me to put it in perspective.
It may well be that your offerings and I will work together down the road.
Thanks again.

That's a weird video, it's mostly about overlap and he keeps brining up LSA, then it's about intake closing in relation to compression and he fails to mention that and calls it LSA. Old mate obviously didn't need a low idle speed so he got away with his tight LSA, but the LSA he got was a resultant of what worked for him.
Good on him for looking after David, but this LSA obsession is a negative for all involved.

Uncle Tony (Garage) touched on overlap recently and claimed nobody talks about that.

I'm just about finished with Championship winning youtubers, they won Championships because they put their all into it, not because their way is the only way.
They're all singing different Hymns from the same prayer book. It's really disrespectful to 130 years of ice engineering.
