Re: Race engine vs Street engine with same combo
Not sure im following your last posts/how does something average 2.3 when it has a 2.78 area and a 2.9 area and 2.3 is the min or choke was the observation/ something doesnt add up in that regard./why i stated 205 starting or milled flange
Re: Race engine vs Street engine with same combo
I bet the vein is good for ~5cc based on one I added to the backside of the guide boss on a Vortec.

I angle milled it 0-.100 and with the deep dish LS valves the chamber was 63cc

The vein is 2" long and .500 at it's peak on the apex. It's around 8cc.

The wing isn't into the MIN area.Elroy wrote: ↑Sun Nov 24, 2019 1:04 pm2.3 is the stated minimum/ is it 1.6csa where the wing is?/ it takes something like that to get 205 over that length./But it cant be smaller than 2.3 there or the listing for minimus is wrong/ maybe some typos are taking place/ f4om what has been said this port would pour much more than 205/ im sure speierracing will clear it up most likely he is installing engine this weekend
Re: Race engine vs Street engine with same combo
The cc of the wing is irrelevant/you have to have a good amount of area much smaller than 2.3 or its not 205//or 2.3 average/ think about it/ the average of 5,6,and 4 cant be 3./205 starting or milled flange maybe/ in the end dont matter that its much bigger/just observing trends/

How about I send you one, you cc it, and then understand how it's possible.Elroy wrote: ↑Sun Nov 24, 2019 1:30 pm The cc of the wing is irrelevant/you have to have a good amount of area much smaller than 2.3 or its not 205//or 2.3 average/ think about it/ the average of 5,6,and 4 cant be 3./205 starting or milled flange maybe/ in the end dont matter that its much bigger/just observing trends/

Re: Race engine vs Street engine with same combo
How can the 195cc head have a 2.20 pinch and be 195cc then?
I listed the areas.

Re: Race engine vs Street engine with same combo
Wouldnt even try to speculate/ i would want my own measurements/thats not always cut and dry between people/ but 2.2 mi imus 195 cc from those numvers alone would suggest less major csa variations than your ports stated dimensions/ your port can be whatever you want it to be/being bigger than 205 is not a criticism so dont take it that way/only an observatiom that seem obvious by your specs/ i can be wrong if you prefer thatSpeierRacingHeads wrote: ↑Sun Nov 24, 2019 1:37 pm How can the 195cc head have a 2.20 pinch and be 195cc then?

I can tell that red and black look good together from thatSpeierRacingHeads wrote: ↑Sun Nov 24, 2019 1:54 pm Can you see anything by that? I would gladly post it up.
Re: Race engine vs Street engine with same combo
You really pushed it out there with a 91.5% throat and 45* seats. You must have a ton of R&D to justify that move.
