Made a real quick video of piston to valve clearance with a cutaway cylinder head to try and help explain valve to piston clearance. I've had several customers confused that lift is the controlling factor in valve to piston clearance. Check this out and let me know what you think I could do to explain this a little better to the rookie engine builder.
Thanks

I think a more steady cam setup would be a bit better.
Perhaps showing which valve is which (front exh/rear int), or maybe put a red & blue tint on the valves, and at what stage/stroke the piston is at in the clip would be helpful.
With descriptions placed into the clip I would omit the noisy backgroundsound perhaps too.

Also, depending on the audience and website you want to show this, I would shoot the video in landscape (or both).

What Big block said plus the text should say approx where the closest points are for each valve.
Perhaps an overlay with a degree wheel would bring the point home that it is not TDC.
