Post numbers in threads?

Post by USMC_Spike »

Where are the post numbers?

There used to be post numbers but I haven't been here in a while and
I don't see them any longer?

Am I missing something or do I need to set up my account preferences?

Please Advise,

Not Sure (laugh -- think Brawndo) if this is what you mean... (just quote yourself and this data is included); I have deleted the brackets to see the HTML code:

Which post numbers do you mean? Your personal post count appears in the avatar box below the wrenches in the upper right corner of your replies and the total 'replies' and 'views' counts for each thread are listed in each forum at the right edge of the thread titles. I'm not familiar with any other post number. :?

The board software has changed a number of times over the years (updates to the program, I guess). I just looked at one of my posts from 2005 and the post number was 13,XXX -- this number is the serial number of the particular post in relation to every other post. I believe the post ID number used to be visible but then disappeared. The information is still available in the html code.
