Note for the OP, 390 holleys are on all the 413 dodge motorhome engines from the 70's and can be found for free.

I've chased tow rigs a fair bit in my day. I had a 347 in a 95' F150 for years it was stout. After throwing smaller cams at it and building 5ft long tri-y headers it kept working better and better. The last cam I tried to have ground was 188@.050 .480" lift on a 104 centerline that I was gonna to install on a 98 icl. But grinders I talked to said they didn't have any Hydraulic Roller lobes like that so I just let it be.
