Mahle piston Mfg no longer sells

Guy's I'm in need of one new or good used Mahle Power Pack piston part number, SBC550165F05

This is for SBC, flat top, 1.550 ch, 4.165 bore or 5.7 rod w/3.480 crank weight is 503g, but I can deal with a non weight matching piston.

If I can't find a piston I may just move the top compression ring to the second groove and run it as a 2 ring piston. Valve head came detached and compressed top ring land, but piston is still usable if not for top ring land damage.

Machine/clean up the ring land? Perhaps going so far as to use a spacer.

Good thought, have never had to do that, but I will ck with a buddy who runs a small machine shop.
