302/347 Trick Flow "R" manifold performance ?

Post by Walter R. Malik »

Can anyone give me any feedback on the performance of the TFS-52400111 "R" series single plane intake manifold...?

They have been available for years yet, I can't get any results from anyone who has used one.

Are people simply reluctant to give up their conclusions or, is it that there has not been any use either successfully or not over the years...? :-k

slightly better than the super victor! On the 351W we built here (http://www.hotrod.com/how-to/engine/150 ... 1-windsor/) it was worth 4HP and 5TQ and 1.8 avg. HP and 1.9 avg. TQ through the pull from 4500 rpm to 7200rpm. All we did to it was mill it to fit the heads..no porting was done at all on either intake.

Well ... this is not the 351W intake manifold but, thanks anyway
This manifold is for the 8.2" deck height 302 block.

Same principals used...we have an 8.2 deck intake that we are thinking of using in a nitrous build and comparing other intakes out there...plate system and 11R heads...just can't decide on a 302 or 347... ](*,)

Maybe the same principles but, the 351W intake manifold is over an 1 1/4" wider; I would presume that should mean SOMETHING.

I would prefer some good independent evaluations from the marketplace.

If you want to try it, I can send it to you as a loaner...I like them and think they should advertise them more...their dual plane intakes work very well too.
