Jenkins 3 link

Are 3 link bars still a good way to hook a drag race car these days over a ladder bar set up.

Think it was SRD race cars that used three link systems. They seemed to fall out of favor as most pro stock builders went 4 link. I' m guessing it was because of the four links ability to preload with the 500 inch engines.

I don't see why three link couldn't be better than ladders if incorporating an anti-sway.

No.

Very, very few new builds use a ladder bar setup. Todays 4 links are well thought out and give the ability to adjust the I.C. so as to not hit the tires so hard, which is a characteristic of ladder bars. Tire technology has come a long way, negating the need to have to hit the tires as hard as in the past.
