Honing Honda FRM Cylinders
Asked over on YB, no replies. I have a customer that wants a clean up hone, not sure how to do it. Google was no help. Anybody do one?

For a deglaze use 600grit with very light pressure. Do not use any metal wipers. I have honed hundreds of these.

What 600 grit stone are you using? The Official Honda technique says to use a nonferrous stone. I'm using an power stroke AN style hone.

MM33C05 is no doubt the stone set that Jeremy uses. It's a twin stick holder with no wipers. I use these on alusil blocks and have used them on a couple of Honda's also. It's an AN style hone so it'll work for you.

Goodson sells them for the An style. Part# Mm33-CO5. That is just a deglaze. Only a few strokes. If you have to take out any material you will have to use Mm33-J85 first. DO NOT use the felt or silicon compound. Use standard honing oil.

I think I have a set of them buried somewhere from the Vega days! Thanks for the help.
