Looking for a 455 Olds engine short block or complete.

It's moot, as I checked the boneyard and the local rebuilder has taken all we had.

Slightly OT, but they've had to buy new crankshafts, as nearly all the 455"s have had trashed cranks. What are you seeing with your BBOs?

ones i've found were pretty much junked out.rust damage or bored to max or pan knock off by the rods trying to escape.

still needing that 455, my neighbor down the road is junking her late husbands Riveria and it has a 455 i,ll see what she is going to do with it

Won't the Riviera have a Buick 455 in it and not an Olds?

I do know that the BOP's all had their own 455 engines back then..

And of course the 454 Chevy and 472/500 Cads.

I have virgin cleaned and magged 455 Olds cores. 719 650-1609

found a core in July ,but customer passed away in September. Now have a pile of fairly expensive parts waiting to hear from his family.
