Hi guys
I have an old 440 chrysler marine engine in the shop for a rebuild , I'm trying to find new exhaust valves, they are 1.6 head diameter , 3/8 stem , but have 2 grooves for the locks , I've only been able to find single groove or 4 groove valves, the intakes were also 2 groove but I found them easily , I'm fine if the head diameter is larger as I can open up the seat or turn down the valve , anyone have a suggestion were I can find these valves ?
Any help would be greatly appreciated
Thanks

A modern Stainless single groove valve with valve seats installed in the heads along with the needed new locks would be the way I would want to go for a marine motor usage with today's fuel!
Yes it will in the end cost the customer 200 bucks more, but it will be done right!
