No, this is a response to a real threat to the Performance Racing Industry.
The OP did not make a political statement. He just made a PSA.

I kind of suspect it was only political when you disagreed with it....that's for clarifying where you've decide to take the forum.

I've supported the RPM Act from day 1 and I'm the furthest from politically motivated as one could be.

This isn't about politics. It's about our hobby. And for some, their profession. You're tripping. Doesn't matter what your political party is or whether you claim one at all. If motorsports is your passion, your hobby, your profession...you need to be supporting this.

Without it, there will be no reason for this forum to exist much longer. You get that, right?

The rule I go with is....
No topic is forbidden in the shop, but if it gets in the way of the job.....then you best keep a lid on it. If you aren't working, then clock out. i can hear the boss now LOL.

in this case we have a topic that is literally in the way of the work in the opposite way. If this crap goes on..... there will will be no work.

So, right on!

So does that mean under current 2015 EPA Regulations that the "EPA Police" can go to any race track in America and tow all the race cars that use to be legal street cars???

Exactly...it wouldn't hurt to post this as a locked topic in all the forums on speedtalk,, the more eyeballs that see it, the better.

The racing/performance industry as a whole has to be more aware of threats against it.

Would not this thread then better service that purpose if it was in the General Engine Tech section? That way non members who come to read the forums will see be able to see it also.
