Tech Speakers at the Race Engine Challenge

Post by Gregory »

For those of you who have not been able to attend the Advanced Engine Technology Conference (AETC) in years past, here is
your chance for a double header - dyno racing and technical presentations. Also, mingle among the engines, the engine builders, the speakers and fellow enthusiast.

For engine enthusiast, there is no better place in the USA to be the week of September 16th than at the REC&TEC.
For the speaker schedule and ticket pricing, log on to the web site.

Looks like the REC & TEC are becoming the new EMC & AETC.

This looks like a great lineup.
I'm really wishing I was able to be a part of it again, but I will be in Spain.
I will make sure I'm available for next year.

Since Engine Masters Challenge has called it quits and the Advanced Engine Technology Conference is no more it looks
like the above has become true.

Not sure I'd call them that. It's not the 'new' EMC. Yea, it's another engine building competition but just because it's still going and the other one ended doesn't make this 'the new EMC'. Same goes for AETC. Just because one ends doesn't make the remaining conference 'the new AETC'. Yea, it's a conference but calling it the new AETC isn't particularly true.

Let me see if I have this right: REC is for now the only dyno racing in the USA and an engine tech conference and you have
a chip on your shoulder? Really...

Your take is that just because it is the only around it is the best. But because it is the only one around it is also the worst.

Stan
that makes no sense ,,since he didnt say it was the best. maybe you and midnightblu should enter in 2020 too add your expertise [-o<

the speakers i sat through were Matt from MBE cylinder heads who was a wealth of knowledge,,he gave detailed explanations of race head ports and why things work. also Derek Dahl from Victory Performance on valves and other components..very informative. Cecil Stevens who i seen last year is a wealth of knowledge from his years in nascar engine building. Dale cubic and other were all very good.

samtech on you tube explaing the REC

Rules for the 2020 (including our new Classic Rivals Class) will be released at the PRI show both on the web page
and printed copies at the Jones Cams booth and the Engine Builder Magazine booth.
