Is one of them speced with flowZ ?
I pulled it to 7700 a couple times, that's the highest it's been. It was peaking at 7500 with vacuum on it so I went to 7700 to try and find peak, with no vacuum on it after the pump broke..it was down a few hundred rpms, lower 7000ish peak...the horsepower is very flat up there so where it finds peak from pull to pull can seem a little random.steve cowan wrote: ↑Tue Jan 28, 2020 7:22 pm Chad,
Bigger cam push peaks up 200-300 rpm and spreading lobe centres will probably carry power past peak nicely,
If I remember last dyno session your engine peaks at 7500 rpm more than likely peak 7700-7800
What are your thoughts on hydraulic lifters, will they handle the extra rpm??
I am trying to remember if you revved engine to 8000 rpm last dyno session
