Your talking 500 cfm on the Intake and 330 out the Exh @ .900" lift pretty much.

Thanks to Larry and Stan for your input. I listened to an audio interview somebody did with Mr. Godbold at Comp. Cams which prompted me to run some math calculations. One was....appx. 1500 H.P. divided by 644 C.F.M. = 2.33 H.P. per CFM . He also mentioned a percentage of the diameter of your intake valve would equate to the needed valve lift. Examples used were appx. 40 percent for NASCAR....appx. a 2.230" x .40 = .892" lift. Pro-Stock close to 50 percent. 2.57" x .50 = 1.285" lift ?????? Mark H. BTW the NASCAR I.V. size was a guess, the 40 percent was Billy's words.

From what I can remember there were 2 heads designed. Darin designed 1 of them and for some reason the other head was the one used.

The head didn't determine the flow, there was enough stock to cut about any shape you wanted into it.
It was basically a blank canvas as most heads of that class are.
The one dimension that had a little gravity is the intake valve axis to cylinder bore axis was about 9 degrees as designed.
Could have been made a couple degrees up or down from there.
