Yeah, you have to somewhat be careful of non-vested bystanders. I experienced a little bit of that recently from others wishing to turn overflowz higher and higher on the dyno...it seemed like an easy decision for others to make

I was just thinking 55-60° IVC, and as early of EVO as you could throw at it for the cubes and rpm without dorking other things up too bad.... Especially with the exhaust valve placement an LS7 has. But your right, application wasn!'t a consideration of mine when thinking this....only the application of it on the dyno!! :lol

Good point about the piston speed........:

Would that be time well spent ?? :)

I decided to,...
Shut the valve sooner to trap more air!!
And calculate my "dynamic comp" to get it just right !!!
Run all the specs through a cranking comp calculator to make sure it is spot on !!!
Keep the ex valve shut later to help build more TQ !!!

There,.. did I leave anything out ??

Randy
So a 106LSA reverse pattern cam then :) .... You guys probably go opposite like 255/273, 110LSA .680/.630 lol

Did you make a thread here asking for picks? :D

Isn't the all important IVC what others use to figure DCR? Do the other 5 events even have a place air pump event?
