I think this Mufflex Y pipe and 4" exhaust is going to work out pretty good!

Long tube headers with 3" collecter into a Mufflex 3" Y-Pipe into a Mufflex single 4" to the tailpipe with a Flowmaster muffler.

I notice in the pic of intake gaskets on the heads that the gaskets are a tad bigger than the ports. Is this acceptable with no ill affects on the flow? I am currently putting together a 421 sbc with some Pontiac 867 heads that have some very nice work done to them. The 1209 intake gaskets are a slight bit bigger similar to what I see in your picture. I want to make sure this is ok? Very nice build by the way and loved reading about it!

Much have it a little bigger than smaller and hanging in the port because it wasn't trimmed.

I think I would buy trim to fit gaskets if I was going to try to solve the problem but I would not try to match the port to a shelf gasket that was sized and shaped from the 60's. :)

So I finally got to drive the Camaro with the new "ram air".. Key on and in this part of the country I show 91 kPa.. Went and drove it with the computer hooked up. Put my foot in it and it shows 90 kPa. MISSION ACCOMPLISHED.
