How would a 3" stroked, 302" or 325" engine do with a mild set of these heads on it?

With a lot milder cam for true street driving?

Did you not watch the video?

Not my build, just a Aussie pro stock Builder Aaron Tremayne who built it for a street/strip customer..................he build's pro stock 400ci engines close to 1200hp.

Ok, spec's!

Car, a 1st Gen. Camaro.

A 302" to 306" based on a 4" bore block to a 323" to 325" based on the 4.125" bore block, 3" stroked SBC.

10 to 10.25 to 1 CR so good pump gas can be used.

280/240 to 290/250 duration solid flat tappet cam that is around 108/108 and .480" to .500" lift.

200 cc intake port, 2.02"/1.60" valve cast-iron heads chamber sized to make the above 10 to 10.25 to 1 CR using flat-top pistons and .015" or .020" thick steel shim head gaskets.

a 750/780 Holley 3310- type carb.

1-5/8", 4-tube, long tube, headers with a full 2-1/2" exhaust and the old, "cackling", W/D/T true smooth perforated inner pipe GLASS Packs out the back.

M-20 Muncie 4-speed.

3.73 to a 4.10 geared 12-bolt posi rear end.

25.5" to 26" dia., real slicks.

Works fine on my end. Maybe it's something on your end that's causing the problem and not the video itself.

Personally, I wouldn't ever question anything Tremayne built. They're top notch and well-known for building badass engines.

And from the vid - Callies Magnum crank, Oliver billet rods, custom diamond pistons w/.043" ring pack, 50mm cam with .838" lift @ the valve. 12.6-1 compression. Conventional lifter bore spacing block. 4.250 stroke x 4.200 bore. Heads flow over 450cfm

IMO, the head would be way too big for a street car.........but might work at 325ci at 9500-10000rpm street car.. :lol:

First post here thought I'd sign in so pdq has someone else that can sort of relate to what he's saying lol . Very nice pumpgas engine build 😳 . So is the Aussie 98 like 93 here ?
pdq forget the sb2.2, get some brodix race rite 180 11-1 cr and step up to some 4.56 gears and at least a z-60
