The car went on to run 9.04 @ 148 @ 3580 NA 10 inch tire. The owner died of cancer, the car was given to his friend, the friend ran the car for a few years, and now the engine is back at Straubs for a rebuild/new engine.
Thanks for response, sorry about the loss.

Finally a car that ran the true numbers with the dyno numbers.

Do you know the converter and rear gears it had?

Also how streetable do you think it could be?

Thanks, Bob

3.90 gear, Turbo 400, Can 9 inch converter. It wasn't streetable, 13.1 comp, valve spring killer, hows it possible to run 7500 RPM through the lights with a 2.300 stainless valve with 550 LBS open spring pressure with a .903 heavy lifter? I wanted titanium valves and solid lifters.....nobody else involved did, thats why Davie died running 9ohs instead of 8.80s
Racing a NA NHRA stocker should be mandatory before any posting.
