Combination or Conversion Uni - Any good or flawed?

Post by Chargermal »

I’d like to know if anyone any issues running this type of U joint.

I’m referring to what I call a conversion Uni - that is it is designed to mate one size weld yoke to a different size pinion or slip yoke.

EG 1350/7290, 1330/1350, 1330/7260 etc....

Anyone with any experiences...good or bad?

Thx👍

I am using one in my '71 Nova. 1330 to 1310 (I think I got that right).
I have only put about 500 miles on it but have done so without any problems.
That also includes the occasional bit of Tom Foolery.

Over the hill but still learning!
Retaining it is the hard part.
