Jet size increase

Post by 408 Nova »

How much do I jet up on an 8082-3 Dominator when taking a power valve out?

Then, on top of that, going from Turbo Blue (non-oxygenated) to VP -113 (oxygenated)?

I usually go up 6-8 jet sizes. Better to go up too high than less and too lean.

Jet remember that if you do not use the high tolerance Holley jets that going up to what you would think would be a 1 step fatter jet may not actually be richer then what you where running!

Sometimes you need to go up 2 jet sizes to really go up only 1 jet size!

I've got a jet kit from Holley. Those jets should be okay, right?
