Granted, asking: "So how did it run?" 12 years after a guy's planned strip test is unproductive, but much of such thread content is of ongoing value to members old and new.
After double-digit years as a Speed Talker I still find numerous relevant posts there that I missed first time by...
I come from the automotive industry first as a technician. I am a member of the International Automotive Technicians Network, or IATN, they have a great website and several forums. One of the neat things is they have a forum just for hard to fix cars and technical problems, all the fix's for those problems go into a searchable data base, for members to look at. I have fixed and found good ideas many times from the fix data base. I see no reason why speedtalk could not do something similar.
When I built a lot of transmissions, I was also a member of the International Transmission Rebuilders Network as well, they also have forums and searchable databases for different transmissions, common problems, and upgrades a lot of shops make.
For example just in head porting, a searchable database for common practices, and port velocities, etc. would be very helpful.
