Chad,
Is the spacer/adapter welded on the inside?
I can't see a parting line.
The victor E is a awesome manifold, if they cast them today they would sell like hotcakes

Throwing a curve at you Scotty... Small block Ford...

The AFR intake. No more cloverleaf. Almost done. Still have to do a bit more to match the heads.

"Quality" is like buying oats. You can pay a fair price for it and get some good quality oats,
or you can get it a hell of a lot cheaper, when it's already been through the horse.

Very nice work, Ed. I wouldn’t mind getting my hands on a blue oval intake. In the meantime, this Strip Dominator is ready for competition…

I'll ask if any of you all are watching Weingartner's intake manifold testing but I'm pretty sure you are.
The link below is round two.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NU9lnYZXlGo
It slots into this thread very well.
Very well except the lack of dual planes here (but that's just me and maybe 1980RS). Eric is slated to test of couple of dual WITH a 1" open spacer. Finally!
Anyway. I'd be interested in the feedback to those vids and how it shakes out with testing done by my SpeedTalk brothers (and sisters).

Needs its own thread on here, Youtube is crap as a comments forum.

I can agree on the comments part of it. More or less useless other than a money generator I suppose.
But are his videos insightful? Accurate? Seems to me they are presenting facts and results rather than speculation.
I certainly won't be one to test in that extreme. Best I can see (for me) is a spacer or two in back to back track runs. But the days of pulling off a manifold swap at the track are long gone.

Eric plugged Speed Talk in that video, but wasn't thrilled. I'm sure a dedicated thread would garner more attention. Otherwise, it gets buried under my garbage...

I don't think Eric has needed to have a good hard think about what happens in Dual Planes, he might get a surprise how much difference lowering that divider makes on the Performer even though he did run it with a 1" open spacer last time.
Pity he didn't run a divided spacer when it had the full divider in tact.

Two different approaches to the same manifold. One is ported to work with AFR Eliminator heads 195cc or larger with a 6901 gasket. The other is matched to a 1206.

How much bigger is the exit of the manifold than the inlet of the heads?

I'm using a mock-up block with AFR 220 Comp heads and CNC ports. A 6901 gasket is 1.36"x2.26" vs the 1206 at 1.31"x2.21".

This is what Toby and I have discussed doing for my build. The intake is also slightly wider to help with port alignment.

I've watched some videos on Youtube for intake manifold porting so I've got an idea as to the mods to make on the Torker ll. Progress so far..

Coming along nicely. Take your time. What type of bits are you using to port?
