David Vizard & Terry Walters Sad Issues
Hi,
It is with great disappointment I've head trying to solve issues with both these men.
I've purchased a engine built by Terry Walters to David Vizard's specifications.
I've only had issues paying for things and not receiving them.
I've contacted both these people and got the brush off from them
over and over again.
Engine was supposed to also be street able, with Hei distributor
with vacuum advance and AED carb specified for this engine.
But Walters did the bait and switch on me. MSD Distributor
along with a Holley 950 Ultra HP that hasn't run right and has
no provision for Manifold vacuum. And I don't know why
I got this Holley, there is nothing special about it, factory stock
and it didn't have the screwdriver nor the Jet Extension etc etc.
Hey, Vizard says vacuum advance from manifold vacuum helps
the engine idle and perform better, in all his books etc, no provisions
for a stock out of the box Holley they forced upon me.
Don't take my word for it, I found this post from Terry Walter's confirming
he received the money for my AED carb. He wouldn't send me the carb
though. Cheating SOB.

Hope it works out for you Spike. Terry Walters and Vizard should at the least give you the carb you paid for not some cast off like they did. Mr Vizard I would hope you would exercise your influence with Mr. Walters and make this guy whole.

DV and I chatted, he wanted TW to be left out of it for some reason.
I'm sending back my Holley 950 Ultra XP carb. DV thought he had enough
in his parts bin to put together a carb. So it won't be an AED.
Wondering how much performance do you get from a vacuum secondary Holley?
The man thing I needed was a vacuum port for the base plate for manifold vacuum
to the vacuum advance on distributor. I can't drill a port into the intake manifold
with out sending metal flakes into the engine.
He was going to find an HEI unit and set it up properly for the engine combo.
Then send these to me after I send him what I have.
David also asked that the other guy who had issues, to contact
him so he can make it right as well.

That mod was never in the plan.
It was a bait and switch from Terry Walters.
Terry should have paid to have the engine sent
back to him and he could have done that himself
and fixed the oil leaks from the engine.
I had specific things I needed at the time
which didn't happen.
I can't do the work any longer and can't afford
to have the car towed to someone else who would
screw it up more than it is.
The fuel bowls of the Holley 950 Ultra XP
where the fuel inlet needle and seat are,
have two difference diameters.The primary
was fine, the secondary was tight/smaller where
the needle was stuck.
If you would like to volunteer Dave,
drive your repair truck here and let's
see what we can do.
We can't test anything until I get the replacement
carb and Dizzy from David Vizard.
