Is this the one from the Quench thread? Seemed to have worked pretty well.
Maximum power using simple logic and common sense
Re: NEW 444ci ALL ALUMINUM SB2.2 - 854hp
Yep,thats it.It liked a little more timing than the last 4" stroke engine but still a pretty good engine. We were having trouble with making a smooth pull because it made so much torque.Thought the problem was brake water tank had too much water in it.Turned out we needed to open the brake water valve a little more to compensate for torque.I think it has more to show if we had not quit.We tried 2 different carburetors,a 950 Stealth & a 1000cfm Winning Edge.Started with 28* timing, then a couple of pulls with 26 degrees timing(rich)& then put 28.5*(lean) in before we quit. All were on Renegade 112 gas.Engine is solid with no leaks, buyer will just need to get the most out of it with his tuning.
Re: NEW 444ci ALL ALUMINUM SB2.2 - 854hp
Price is negociable.Depends on whether you need carburetor & which one,or whether you need engine delivered or picked up here & whether you would like it dynoed again with you there.Call me if you are interested,I'm sure we can work something out.
