302 GMC deck height

does anyone know the factory deck height for the GMC 302 inline six
center of main journal to head gasket surface

Maybe I can be of some help. If you can find a reference to the deck clearance, this will get you what the deck height is:

1/2 stroke = 2.0"
Rod Length= 7.0"
CH of piston=2.359
_______________________
--------------- 11.359
------------- + deck clearance
------------ = block deck height

The 270 piston CH is 2.375 so, I think the deck height will be somewhere between 11.437 & 11.500
