Aluminum LS blocks and dry sleeves

Post by turbo camino »

I've read Darton's documentation and they aren't real clear about what works with which specific blocks.

Are the water jackets/wall thickness the same on aluminum 5.3 blocks, as on the aluminum 6.0/6.2s? What is the typical cost for having one sleeved?

Only interested in DRY sleeves, the wet sleeve conversions require motor plates because the block goes all bendy afterwards.

Ls2, ls3, lsa, and the lc9 blocks are what’s preferred by Steve at red.
He is considered the best at this in the ls world.

Are you confirming that the 5.3 block can be bored to 4.326" for the Darton dry sleeves and not hit water?
