Guy just noticed a valve spring broke on another cylinder. This explains the miss.

This is the cylinder of the broken spring. Valve didn't drop or anything but just wanting to check.

Seems some spintron testing is in order.

Spintron. Good point.

Where to even find one?

For what? Why do people over complicate everything.

Just fix it, get some good PSI or PAC springs and run it.

I run a PSI 1259RML 1.520 spring with those combos.
.950 lift and 8400rpm you'll get hundreds of passes.

That's been done, if it had cheap springs or had an over rev that's fine, if not, something in the combo is unhappy.

Cam card for what its worth. This cam was spec'd for Shafiroff. Not sure if this was a super aggressive lobe in order to het hp numbers to sell engines or not.

A long long time ago I bought a deal like this, very high end engine, "just needs freshened". Ended up having to part it out and didn't come close to breaking even.

Every situation is different.
We will see. I can buy the engine for cheaper than the new price of the cylinder heads alone.

Cam? Springs? Or both are cookie cutter?

Think there is some power on the table with this cam?

I plan on talking to Mike Jones for a cam at a later date.
Plan on running mostly just fast bracket in a 2500lb door car. But I still indeed like to go fast.
