I stopped using hyd roller liters over a year ago. I only use solid roller on hyd grind. Have yet to have a problem. I had so many damn problems and failures with hyd

They only work "half way decent" at minimal valve spring forces.

Good article, but.....
If the diam of the new 'cartridge' is smaller [ they say the volume is smaller ], then there is more load from the valve springs trying to bleed down the oil....& cause lifter bleed down. If you tighten clearances to reduce bleed down, you also increase the risk of a small piece of debris jamming the cartridge.

Well it's done 40,000 miles in testing and 2 drag weeks running mid 8s..,..not bad I guess......for mild street car 500-700hp seems like a good option.Geoff2 wrote: ↑Wed Feb 21, 2024 12:27 am Good article, but.....

I guess you could say that debris about bushed lifters.....if it jams your in trouble.
