Update on the exhaust turning. It didn't like the small one at all down 10hp. The largest one I built was only down about 2-3hp, but looking for gains. I'm going to try the larger pipes which I don't have collects for ranging from 1-1/2 to 2".

I wanted to share my results of the split manifold test I performed. It was unsuccessful. The first attempts were to small at 1 1/8" &1 1/4", based on sound and area calculations to the 2-1/16" single. So I tried 1-1/2" 1-3/4" and just let them terminate wherever. Could never find any gains over the stock manifold at 1800rpm or 1500rpm that was my test rpm.

I did however attempt various pipes off the single pipe manifold after I seen a gain by removing the straight through muffler. The original pipe is right about 2-1/16" I attempted a 2-1/4" and finally a 2-1/2". As you can see it hated the 2-1/2" especially at the lower rpm. For clarification 450pto rpm=1500 engine rpm as 540pto rpm= 1800 engine rpm.

Its all complete and parked in the barn for the winter. Wish I could have been able to disc my field down but weather turned to fast.
