Are the heads port matched to the intake? Which intake is it?

The intake is a Victor 351Y #2960 which is port matched to the heads at the roof & side walls.
It is the intake which was run with those NASCAR C3 heads when using a restrictor plate so, the port floor is higher.
Plenty of metal everywhere to port it however you wish.

I have had several, laughable offers and actually accepted 2 but, one guy was talking out his butt and never called back and the other wanted to pay "on a time plan".
This is not a credit service. LOL

I am just not gonna wait anymore for the buyer to finish transaction.
After accepting a deposit and 2 minimal payments, I am sending his money back; 4 months is long enough for him to get over his Christmas money responsibilities.
So, this engine is for sale again

Did you ever come up with a price for this engine if so what is it I wouldn’t want to price someone else’s stuff.Like you said don’t low ball so if you price it that should knock off some of the low ball offers.

Was thinking $10,000.00 however, the last offer I took was less but, after 4 months of just $500.00 payments, I gave him back his money.

A small block RACING engine is not very popular, I guess.

This is such a good running engine, I would hate to take it apart to just sell the parts separately ...

With a tunnel ram manifold & 2 - 750 carbs it made 762 horsepower and 610 lb/ft of torque with an oxygenated gasoline ... VP 109.
I could only guess what a single 4 barrel would make.

Man I sure wouldn’t mind picking up this engine from you.But I’ve bought some used engine and parts and sometimes things didn’t work out.Not saying your engine isn’t going to be a problem but.By the way do you have any other pictures of it to share in your advertisement and I wouldn’t need the intake I already have one for it.And what state would it ship from I’m in Southern California.
Re: Selling S.B. Ford 9.2" deck race engine
Walter, Do you know what the cc of the chambers? Friend wants to put this in an occasionally driven street car, and the thought is to reduce the c/r to something a little more pump gas friendly like 10.5 or 11. My thoughts are to increase the chamber size and/ or use a little thicker gasket. Do you think this is doable?
Thanks, Buddha

The chambers are very shallow on these NASCAR heads at 41 cc's.Buddha wrote: ↑Tue Feb 14, 2023 4:02 am Walter, Do you know what the cc of the chambers?
