I was waiting in a parking lot for someone the other day and noticed several newer vehicles have no key hole on the drivers door or any other, even got out and looked at the hatches. WTF! How do they get in when it has a dead battery? Would suck to have your key fob battery randomly die.
RANT:
There was a comic years ago who had a bit bout how his GF would drive off with out her key all the time because it had that keyless ignition or w/e. She'd always call him to bring it to her.
Herd of a guy who didn't know where the manual release was for the electric door handle in his new vette and died of heatstroke.
Honestly I could care less if my car can play video games, text me, had heated pedals or take selfies of my butt. I'm more concerned with how long it drives/last, than if it has some trendy tech that'll break at 50k.
Excuse me I gotta go stand on my hood or roof and post it on social media LOL

Re: Cars w/o Key Locks
You can typically pull the cover off the rear of the handle and there’s a slot there and a mechanical key within the fob to use. Many of the suvs also have a mechanical one in the hatch by the license plate light. I detest the push button start stuff, pain just to turn the ign on to scan without starting. They are a helluva lot easier to steal though, especially the Chrysler ones.

Calm down people, there are still options to move from one place to another if you really want a car that you can start with a screwdriver and keep driving it after disconnecting the battery or total lack of electricity? Just need to work a little with -79 Opel or -83 MB
Dont forget the keys break, starters not engaging, engines backfires and you practice welding from time to time
