What engine combo is that on? did you test spacers to arrive at that as the best combo for your setup? I have an rpm air gap and had a 1" hvh tapered on it, reason I am asking as I'd love to know more. Thanks.

I haven't made it that far yet, bud. Been stalled forever on a block but it's a 10.4 ish 406 SBC for my '83 K10. I knew we'd have to test so I started with the tallest one because it looks cool, lol

Would the results be the same on a 406 or 434?
Or a high compression 406 with VFactor heads?

Lower runners are a disaster.
Upper plenum too shallow.
Too much turn in the runners.
The theory is bad, you can't run it divided, wrong cylinders pair up.
Hey now, McFarlain said the tork-link was the best intake since canned beer

No way that works..

No aggressive burr finish.

I'm surprised it even idles.
FWIW,the burr finish will go the way of the dinosaur within the next few years.Just my uneducated .02

Scott,
Is that by hand or mill?
Those taller plenum Team G have a ton of material.
I am looking at getting a mill so I can machine the plenum area's, save a lot of grinding

Steve,
That is by hand. I don't have a mill.
A ton of material and a ton of work.
The carb pad is still a 4150.
I've got a 'few' more hours grinding into it since those pics.
