Not too shabby. About 450 tq and 466 hp on this graph. I did a third pull and it read 461/478 but like an excited idiot I didn’t take a picture. Made over 400 lb/ft before 3k rpm! This was on pump 93 running a 383/Weiand 177 combo with meth injection. I had the timing locked at 30. I normally run 32-34 but didn’t want to blow it up on the dyno. I think bumping the timing a little would’ve put a few more horses up there. It was still climbing at 6k but didn’t want to push it further out. Overall pretty solid wheel horsepower numbers! Really impressive considering they are just some cheapo box stock Promaxx 200 heads!
This is in a 95’ single cab 2wd Silverado. I’m currently having an argument with a guy online about the chassis of the truck soaking up hp to the wheels. I am correct in that theory, right? The frame rails of the chassis almost act like noodles soaking up power? And even more-so than a unibody style vehicle?
383/177 dyno!

Re: 383/177 dyno!
550- 565 BHP or so... on a engine dyno.
Any air temp and baro data or is this corrected.
Ask the dyno owner
What drive pulley ratio is this now?

Re: 383/177 dyno!
He said this was using the standard correction factor? I’m not versed enough in dyno lingo to know what that means.
Re: 383/177 dyno!
Standard is supposed to be 60f dry air 29.92 baro..
The transmission drive shaft and axle /tires absorb about 15% +/-. I think you did good . 30° spark. etc.
Yup no point in lunching it. Its in the ball park.
Truck should go 115mph. ¼ mile ± ish
What was the temp and humidity there?

I would guess the correction factor would mean it’s reading “higher?”F-BIRD'88 wrote: ↑Wed May 31, 2023 7:00 pm Standard is supposed to be 60f dry air 29.92 baro..

Temp was probably 75-78 degrees or so at the time. Humidity was probably 75%
