Superflow 110 For Sale

Post by Diodedog »

I bought this new from Superflow but have had the larger SF-300 bench for about 6 years now, I thought I might still have some future use for the 110 but at close to 70 YO I'm starting to part with the spare stuff I have. I put the 4.25" head adapter from the 110 on the 300, this bench is being sold with the 4.00" adapter the 300 came with. It runs fine but after 5-10 minutes of continuous use one of the two intake motors gives off a mild smell and probably should be replaced. I had planned on swapping the intake and exhaust motors as they are the same and the exhaust typically sees less use. The same direct replacement OEM motor is available at grainger for 81.71 but wouldn't be needed for occasional use. https://www.grainger.com/product/AMETEK ... ting-2M203

My SF-110 started to smell like something was burning. When I opened up the bench to change the motors, it turned out that the electrical terminals that are through bolted to the wooden bulkhead had loosened. That was the heat source, the motors were fine. I made a new bulkhead section out of some heavy 1/2" plastic sheet and that cured the problem. It may not be your problem, but it would be worth looking into. An SF-110 that doesn't need new motors shoud bring a few more $$$

It's still available, a lot of west coast people interested but shipping prices have been the deal breaker.

Sorry to look like a lead and go quiet, I think that will be a bit small for me. Not that I need a huge one, but would like to pull a little harder on the port than the 110s do.

If this bench were in my back yard I'd have it already. I like the analog manomoters.
