I once worked with a guy at Lockheed who told me he owned a land speed record at Bonneville. "Really? What class?" He showed me a snapshot of a Roots blown flathead Chrysler 8 in a '34. The car had fueling problems that kept its best pass to around 140 in 1989. So there are people around that are crazier than you and I, Jack.
