IIRC,my TS .9/.9/2mm were around 600 last year.

I built quite a number in the early 2000s with gapless top 2 ring pistons for restrictor plate engines. When we switched to CP Pistons I don't think we ran them after that. But maybe a few..

I just don't like gapless for the obvious plus extra weight, extra side clearance etc... tolerance stackup on the ring, spacer and groove... make the piston right with perpendicular ring grooves..

As far as price.. the trick stuff can be close to the price of a set of pistons. And not worth it for the average or even experienced guys.

If you're engine doesn't consume a bit of oil, there is power on the table.
