Chevy iron duke
Has anyone ever tried to swap out the Isuzu motor with the iron Duke I have one sitting here just wondering if it's more work than its worth?

Re: Chevy iron duke
I'd have to be REALLY motivated to swap TO an Iron Duke. I have no idea how I would get that motivated, but I'm thinking firearms and kidnapping would be involved. GM made 200+ changes to the Iron Duke over it's lifetime, and they never did make a proper engine out of it.
Given some aftermarket modifications, you'd stand a chance; but it'll never pass emissions testing.

I was imagining a forklift.
Is there emissions testing on forklifts? I don't think so.
Or, I hope not
But any way, I probably would not recommend that swap. It's not that hard to fix an isuzu with the right connections.
